Pilgrims

A play set in a diner in 1970, Pilgrims is a love story about the awakening of dreams and the difficulties of coming of age in an era of sacrifice. The poignancy of the drama is illuminated with color woodcuts by the artist. The play was first produced by the Vineyard Theater in New York City in 1986 as part of a trilogy of one-act plays by Stephen Metcalfe entitled Sorrows and Sons.

Yellow Ingres antique endpapers printed with a decorative woodcut by the artist.
